The 10th edition of the SIGN conference series will be held at the University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus, Trinidad & Tobago, 9 -12 December 2024.

There are pre-conference sessions on the morning of Monday 9 December when people can brush up on their International Sign and learn some local signs.

Special Thematic Session (STS) at the scientific conference ICCHP-AAACE 2022 (July) in Lecco, Italy: ‘Language Accessibility for the Deaf and Hard-Of-Hearing’. Moscow State Linguistic University, with the support of the Moscow branch of the all-Russian society of the deaf (VOG) and Roo associations of sign language interpreters (RASLI) , are organizing an international scientific conference: 16 & 17 December 2021.

The aim of the conference is to discuss the role of sign languages in the professional training of interpreters and in intercultural communication in general, the “new normal” for sign language interpreters as well as modern interdisciplinary studies of sign languages in Russia and abroad.
