“The integration of social-haptic communication in deafblind interpreting and educational settings”, which will be held on the 4th and 5th of  September 2023 in person in Aula Magna Silvio Trentin, Ca’ Dolfin, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and on Zoom. 

The conference aims at gathering international and national expertise around the integration of social-haptic communication in the practice of deafblind interpreting and in deafblind learning environments.

Special Thematic Session (STS) at the scientific conference ICCHP-AAACE 2022 (July) in Lecco, Italy: ‘Language Accessibility for the Deaf and Hard-Of-Hearing’. Deafblind International (DbI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of Kenya and other partners is organizing the 1st DbI Africa Conference which will be held at the Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE) in Nairobi, Kenya from Thursday12th to Saturday 14th May 2022.
