The Erasmus+ project: Developing Deaf Interpreting will host a European conference, inviting all stakeholders, such as deaf and hearing interpreters, interpreter trainers, Deaf Associations and others with an interest in the field, to come and join the discussion. The conference will take place at Hamburg University on May 25 - 26, 2018.

At the conference, the studies of deaf interpreting and recommendations for a curriculum for deaf interpreter training will be presented. There will be plenary sessions as well as workshop based discussions of the findings of the project. The studies focus on a variety of issues: Interpreting ethics, IS interpreting, team interpreting and much more.
